Nikki is a Chartered Legal Executive, working in our Court of Protection team.  Nikki joined Hugh Jones Solicitors in July 2019, as a Case Worker.  Nikki’s work as a Case Worker involved being one of the main contacts for clients and their families, providing advice and support to them as needed.

Prior to joining Hugh Jones Solicitors, Nikki started her legal career in 2015 as a Legal Apprentice in Private Client, covering Trust and Estates and Court of Protection. Nikki then after discovering her love for Court of Protection, moved into the area as a Paralegal where she gained the experience of managing her own caseload of vulnerable clients who lack capacity.

Nikki joined our Lawyer team in June 2022, working as a Court of Protection Executive.  As part of this team, Nikki assist senior members of the team with their cases and also 

• Working with the Deputy to manage the financial and property affairs of clients who lack capacity
• Supporting lay deputies to help them carry out their role, including initial or renewal applications

Nikki works with clients, their families and any professionals involved to empower the injured person and aim in improving their quality of life with the implementation of care/support teams, therapists and the purchase and adaptation of properties.

Outside of work,  Nikki is a Dementia Friend and enjoys fundraising supporting the cause.
