Rebecca Marshall

Rebecca joined our Court of Protection team in January 2026 as an Associate Solicitor, from Simpson Millar where she worked in their Court of Protection department.

Rebecca started her legal career specialising in personal injury law. Upon qualification, Rebecca retrained as a Court of Protection practitioner and has enjoyed working with deputyship clients since 2022.

Rebecca specialises in property and affairs deputyship work; her experience includes working with adults and children with complex needs, including the management of high value litigation awards both during and after settlement.

In her daily work, she liaises with deputyship clients, their families and multi-disciplinary teams, taking into consideration all aspects of clients’ finances, including income and expenditure reviews, therapeutic input and funding for care.

Rebecca is also instructed to make a range of applications to the Court of Protection and has experience of working with lay deputies to help them to carry out their role, including initial or renewal applications.

Rebecca is a committee member of Headway Brain Injury Association - Warrington, supporting people with life after a brain injury and she enjoys fundraising to support the charity.
