Anjum qualified as a solicitor in 2011, and for the past 15 years has specialised solely in Court of Protection work. Anjum assists clients who are young, elderly, and vulnerable. Previous experience includes creating personal injury trusts, property transactions acting for Trustees and Deputies dealing with all aspects of personal injury trust administration and Court of Protection administration.
Prior to joining the firm, Anjum gained extensive Court of Protection experience at Irwin Mitchell Solicitors, Linder Myers' Court of Protection team and JMW Solicitors. She also served as Senior Associate and Head of the Court of Protection team at Bromleys Solicitors. Her previous work includes establishing and administering personal injury trusts, managing property transactions for trustees and deputies, and dealing with all aspects of personal injury trust and Court of Protection administration.
Anjum works closely with clients, their families and any professionals involved to protect the interests of vulnerable people, being committed to empowering clients to improve their quality of life. Anjum’s work includes supporting lay and professional applicants with their appointment to act as Deputy, seeking additional authority to sell property, purchasing property, reviewing security levels set by the Court, administering panel deputyships referred to the firm, statutory wills applications, trustee applications and financial assessments with local authorities.
Anjum is an accredited member of Lifetime Lawyers having successfully completed the Older Client Care in Practice Award and Older Client Law in Practice Award and is an accredited member of the Professional Deputies Forum.
Anjum enjoys spending time with family and friends in her spare time and enjoys long walks.
