January has drawn to a close, and after a bumper year in 2023, we’re well back into the swing of things with what promises to be another busy 12 months.
Alongside business as usual, we’re currently focused on growing the team to respond to continued demand for our Court of Protection, private client, and HR expertise. We’ll be out and about at more conferences and events, as well as delivering training to industry peers.
For now, though, we take a look back at a few highlights of 2023 in what was a year to remember for Hugh Jones Solicitors.
10th Anniversary
2023 marked our 10-year anniversary and a decade of exciting achievements. Since our launch in 2013, led by the vision of our founder, Hugh Jones, we’ve grown to a team of 68, extended our office twice and are working with a growing number of clients based all over the country – and there are no signs of slowing!
As a thank you to our staff, we celebrated ten years in business in style at The Lowry Hotel, where we spent the day looking back over previous successes and discussing plans for the future.
Hall of Fame
Our founder and Chairman, Hugh Jones, was placed in the 'Hall of Fame' by the Legal 500 2024. The Hall of Fame highlights individuals who have received constant praise from their clients for continued excellence. It demonstrates to clients which law firm partners are at the pinnacle of the profession in their field.

We were delighted that the firm was once again ranked in the 2024 Chambers and Partner UK Guide and recommended as a top-tier firm for personal tax, trusts, and probate in the 2024 Legal 500 UK directory.
