The Expert witness team is headed by Director, Catherine Eassom. The team currently has 4 experts who are regularly instructed by a wide range of externally referring firms of solicitors.
The team has 2 dedicated support team members who coordinate the work of the Expert Witness team and liaise with instructing solicitors to arrange joint meetings and conferences.
In addition to Catherine Eassom, the team also has another solicitor working in the team, who also undertakes Expert Witness work alongside a smaller caseload of financial and property affairs files.
The successful candidate would join a highly experienced and professional team. They would be providing support to our Experts so would need to be proactive in their approach to their work and time management.

We are a single site firm with hybrid working for nearly all members of the firm. The successful candidate will need to work flexibly, attending the office for 1 or 2 days per week to ensure a good level of contact with other members of the team, working from home for the remainder of the week. We need everyone in the firm to have a caring but professional approach – high standards of personal service to our clients are essential.
Hugh Jones Solicitors is a limited company. All members of the firm have the opportunity to develop their careers through to director level.
