Charlotte Crawford

Charlotte is an experienced private client specialist solicitor and provides clients with advice on a wide range of matters.

Her work involves will writing and assistance with future planning. This includes advice on the use of trusts, particularly if the client has concerns about protection of their assets or wishes to provide for someone who may be disabled or unable to manage their own affairs.

Charlotte assists personal representatives and executors in the administration of estates. She is known for her sympathetic approach and works with clients in difficult circumstances to ensure that the administration process is as easy for them as possible.

She also provides advice on the administration of trusts. This might include advising trustees on their duties and the powers available to them, assisting them to comply with increasing regulatory requirements or completing tax returns and trust accounts.

Her work with clients also involves the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney and applications for the appointment of a deputy to the Court of Protection. She can also prepare applications to the Court of Protection for statutory wills.

Charlotte is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and in May 2017 was appointed as a member of the Law Society's Private Client Section advisory committee. Charlotte is also a full accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly.
