Darren is an Administrator, working in our Court of Protection team.
Our Administrators are at the heart of our service to our professional Deputyship clients. It is their role to provide advice and support to clients and their families on the end of a phone, by email or in person. They make sure the that day to day management of the client's financial lives is looked after - from arranging mobile phones, to paying bills, insuring vehicles and properties or even helping with arranging holidays.
Administrators are often in very regular contact with clients and work as part of a team with a solicitor or executive, under the guidance of the Deputy.
Darren has over ten years’ experience within the Court of Protection field, joining Hugh Jones Solicitors in January 2018. Darren started his legal career as an office assistant and around four years ago was promoted to become an Administrator. In this time he has gained valuable experience, assisting with a range of clients including those with head injuries and elderly clients living in care.
More recently Darren has gained a CLT 'Court of Protection paralegal' qualification and is just beginning his Chartered Legal Executive studies. Darren hopes to further enhance his knowledge and have long and successful career helping vulnerable clients, both young and old.
