Everyone at the firm has settled into the 'new normal' of working mostly from home and in 'fixed teams' in the office. We are providing a full service to our clients; a very small number of our employees were furloughed but everyone is back at work and we are busy.
Our office is open and we are available to assist you and will be conducting meetings by phone or video, but of course will not be visiting clients or conducting meetings here.
As required by the Government, we are publishing our latest Health and Safety Risk Assessment here, relating to our management of risk of Coronavirus transmission.
We have a secure, virtual network so that we can be available both by email and on the telephone - please ring on your usual numbers if you need to speak to one of us.
We are very conscious of the health and well-being of our clients and colleagues and follow the up to date government advice. Please feel free to contact any member of our team if you have questions or concerns about how we are working through the current difficulties.
Support workers employed by the deputy for our clients with questions or concerns, should speak to their Case Manager, Team Leader or a member of our HR team on HRAssistance@hughjonessolicitors.co.uk or on 0161 871 3680.
Drafting or amending wills - there are now restrictions in place because of social distancing, please read further here.
